The modern “Goebbels” without a uniform : How Sexual Scandals Shape Public Opinion

Defending the truth is not an ideological stance; it is a duty. When accusation precedes evidence, society retreats to primitive forms of “justice,” where the crowd decides.

The modern global “Goebbels” is a multi-purpose meat grinder, operating across all roles of evil. His main and habitual ones are those of the snitch, the liar–disinformer, the fearmonger, the executioner. He signs “contracts of death” — of character and of life — with filthy bosses, when he is not hims The modern “Goebbels” without a uniformelf simultaneously both the instigator and the executor, using as weapons the keyboard and the microphone.
Recently, as we denounced in a post just a few days ago, one of the harshest and most uncouth little Goebbels figures — a Pulitzer man — Kostas Vaxevanis, a well-known looter of the “sacred and holy” of the Left and among the most devoted servants in the worship of Mammon, “hung out to dry” Giorgos Mylonakis, a government minister and close associate of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, with allegations and insinuations of a cover-up involving an alleged case of child abuse by a Cypriot senior judge. The accused, who apparently did not have the courage to publicly deliver two symbolic slaps to this little Goebbels — at least, that is what I would have done in his place — chose instead to… suffer a severe stroke.
Of course, all these accusations from the murderous hand of the Goebbels figure were published without any evidence whatsoever, beyond vague, airy references such as “someone told me, they told someone else.” The obvious aim: to consolidate in the minds of his readership the perception that “there is no smoke without fire” and to add yet another scandal — real or not — to the many already carried by the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
We should note that especially the Goebbels figures of the synthetic (phony) Left — and most notably the outlets “Documento” and “Efimerida ton Syntakton” — are specialists who have excelled, particularly in recent years, in sexual-content allegations in order to crush their political opponents. “Below-the-belt blows,” as people call them. Of course, to be fair, commercial journalism worldwide as a whole shows high performance in matters involving… blood and sperm. A characteristic example is the famous Epstein–Maxwell case in the United States. With front pages, flashy headlines, and exclamation marks, there is hardly a day or issue that does not contain these two, often combined, favorite themes.
Let us recall cases in our country that received enormous publicity — far more than they should have — solely to provide material for the misinformation media. Let us remain with the most “noisy,” the most “marketable” ones: those of Lignadis, Filippidis, the 12-year-old girl from Kolonos, and of course the most prominent of all, the alleged child murders by the mother Pispirigou, who was convicted on nonexistent and blatantly fabricated charges constructed by those very same Goebbels figures.
Diotima, we would like you to focus on this enormous moral issue: the fabrication of guilt by the media of commercial journalism in sexual cases, and to point out the reasons why such allegations, in particular, usually find such receptive ears among the masses.

The modern “Goebbels” without a uniform
Propaganda no longer requires a regime or a uniform.
The modern “Goebbels” is not a person — it is a system.
A system that:
produces suspicion instead of evidence
turns information into a weapon
transforms rumor into conviction

1. The economy of scandal
Modern commercial media operate as attention machines.
Scandal beats analysis
Suggestion beats proof
Accusation beats verification
Sexual content dominates because it triggers:
shock
fear
voyeurism

2. The psychology of the crowd
The audience is not passive.
It:
seeks certainty
rejects ambiguity
craves moral clarity
Thus:
“No smoke without fire” replaces evidence
repetition creates perceived truth
outrage overrides reason

3. From news to narrative
Media no longer just report — they stage reality.
They assign roles:
villain
victim
avenger
Justice becomes entertainment.

4. Trial without court
The consequences are severe:
social conviction before legal judgment
irreversible reputational damage
collapse of the presumption of innocence

5. A necessary distinction
We must remain precise:
some crimes are real and revealed by journalism
others are exaggerated or prematurely judged
Confusing them harms both justice and truth.

6. Why sexual scandal dominates
Because it is:
simple
emotional
universally accessible
It is the most “democratic” scandal — and the most exploitable.

Conclusion
We live within a triangle:
media seeking attention
audiences seeking intensity
algorithms amplifying extremes
Truth does not disappear.
It becomes collateral damage.
